The Great Frustration.
* In this post, the 'china' people that I'm referring to is RUDE, UNREASONABLE, LOUD AND INCONSIDERATE. So, today my mum went to buy dessert at Tampines Link Food Court at inter. I had Thai Tapioca and my sis Almond Logan. This is the great scene which triggered this post.
(whole conversation is in Mandarin, Cheena is the China woman at the counter)Mum: Can i have a Thai Tapioca and Almond Logan. Take away.
Cheena: *makes the Tapioca*(Halfway while putting the coconut sauce, she talks to the Singaporean aunty beside her at the counter, then proceeds to talk to the man in the opposite stall, shouting the words, obviously.)
I wanted more coconut sauce.
Me: Can i have more coconut sauce?
Cheena: *shouting to the man opposite*Me: Hello? Hello? *Waves my hand in her face infront of her.*
Cheena: *Moved on from my coconut sauce to another brown sauce. Still never hear me*Me: Hello?!! Hello?!! *Waves quite violently* Forget it, don't want already. -.-
Mum: Eh, hello miss!! Cheena: Huh? Yes?
Mum: You spit all your saliva into the Tapioca already lah.Cheena: *expressionless* You still got order what huh???
Mum: I told you already. THE ALMOND LOGAN.
Cheena: *shouts* Oh ya! HAHAHA..
By this time, we were at the counter for quite long already. Starting to feel irritated.
Cheena: *Stands there and do nothing*Me: (to mum) Is she even going to make it?
Mum: *blur look* HUH... After awhile 2 minutes or so. Another aunty starts making the Almond Logan. The person behind us who ordered 2 bowls of dessert to another aunty already got hers and left.
(Finally, the Almond Logan is done.)Miss Cheena put the container into another plastic bag. Not together with the Tapioca and wanted to give it to the next person behind us. Then she paused.
Cheena: Eh. *shouts to the aunty* The Logan that you make is whose huh?!!!
Aunty: Hers hers.
Cheena: Oh ya, is yours huh.Mum: How much?
Cheena: One is $1.20, another one is $1.30. Mum: *pek cek already* YA, BUT TOTAL?
Cheena: $2.50.At the end, she give my mum a not happy face, showing probably her attitude.
But to me, it's a face that makes me want to hit her.
It's obviously her fault, she can make the food than talk what. And she wasn't even concentrating at all.
This triggered the topic about China people in our country with me and my mum. She recently read something in the papers.
Mum: You know, Singapore has 4.6 million people now. And they target 6.6 million soon.Me: By when?
Mum: It's not like 10 years you know. It's sooner, maybe five? And the extra 2 million will be mainly from China as Singaporeans are also not giving birth.Me: O.O 2 million! Now i already buay tahan.
Mum: Yaaa. What to do? Last time when China people apply Visa to come to Singapore, it takes 2 weeks, now, it only takes afew hours! So, almost immediately, i msged Amanda and told her that great news. We have to live with extra 2 million China people when we're 20. Now, it's already suffocating me.
I mean, come on, the raise their arms so high in the MRT. They never think about how other people are going to breathe? INCONSIDERATE.
So her reply was,
'It's easy what. Just take the machine gun and shoot them dead lor. 'Oh, how i wish so! I can imagine a scene from House of the Dead. Shooting them like i shoot those zombies. AHAHAHAHAH. SHIOK!
Can't believe that they're all coming over. We have to eat with them, work with them, go everywhere and anywhere also have them! They will take all our jobs because paying them is cheap!
AHHHHHHHH. SO ANGRY. There is so many bad experience with China people that my impression of them is very bad. I can't possibly type all out because one case only, i already took so long.
If they are nice people, they actually don't shout and give bad service and don't be so inconsiderate and think that they are very good, i don't really mind. It's really their behavior. And of course what they do.This post is getting pretty long and I'm going to eat my Tapioca now.
So anyway, I'm thinking, if they are all coming over, then in 5 years time, is Geylang going to be a blooming market?
p/s Like i said, I'm only referring to China people with bad characters. Not nice China people or Singaporeans. Honestly, such bad China people disgrace their entire population. I love this post, goodnight(:
